Standard Megalopolis

On Monday, on Monday
the weekend is over
people pass by
some go to kindergarten
some go to school
some go to work

and I have nowhere to go
said the homeless

when they come home
they are warmly welcomed
some play with friends
some do their homework
some prepare work for the next day

and I have no one and nothing to do
said the homeless

don´t look so sad
don´t stare at me
don´t bother me
some are interested in me
some play tricks on me
some ignore me
and don´t care

things won´t change
said the homeless begging in the street.

Congrats tinkerbell - nice works, well done!

Your poem kinda inspired me - I picked up the content & went after it. Here is a (rather clumsy) try to transmute your verse into sonnet style - hope you'll like it anyway.

Megalopoli$onnet

On Monday, on Monday, the weekend was gone
The people were passing the streets with a smirk
(From pre-school to high school, from college to work)
The square is stock-still while the cycle goes on.

On business, in numbness, through workdays they throng
Towards a warm welcome at home they will spurt
(From learner to teacher, from student to clerk)
To call it a Friday - to feel they belong.

Those fat-cats kept showing off and gave the 'dipshit' a name.
"Su dis cuss-word es da coz wy non'es talkin' wid me!"

In any case of a doubt, s/he ain't the person to blame.
"Su dun'be hackin' me uff... an' wycha gawkin'it me?"

S/he ain't naive any more - s/he knows that nothing will change.
"Su yu gun' beggin' da point, an' me be walkin' da streets."
