A day without rain
A day without rain
A day without pain Sleeping harshly No marsh around me I’m standing on the burned earth No single man in the nearth No more drops of tears No more cries of fears No war is gonna reign A day without rain. Sadly walking on the ground of ash. Lovely talking only to the trash. It’s a pity for us. It’s a shame, thus. Why did we do those cruelties? Why didn’t we stop some time ago? Our war knew thousand different varieties. Our love didn’t exist, wasn’t it so? The few of us who survived the storm know now, how far we’ve gone. There’s no more man alive. Their look’s cutting like a knife. But a comfort rests still: There’s no more dark man’s will. After pain and crime and hate, we’re looking in a lovely future, straight. But in reality, it’s driving me insane ‘cause there’s no day without rain. |
