On the Roof
On The Roof
„well, how's the view tonight my dear?“ she asks, like every night im sitting here don't answer - watch the stars and dream to find... sometime... my love supreme the window's shut, she goes to bed thank god! but anyway it's all been said i guess it's nearly half past two i stretch, caught by this stunning view i wonder if there's someone else who cares about how sweet the night air smells alas! why should - i'm sure there's not it's hard... to see... it hurts... this rot the heck with it. my wine runs short my wine, for me some kind of last resort they say of all my drinking's worst but never think about my thirst they talk to talk, but have no clue shut up! cruel world! im sick to death of you i tried my best - i worked so hard i gave so much - but no reward that's life... inane... not worth the weep this late again, im tired. time to sleep now where's the... ah, good here it is good night. i´m sure i will not miss ... edit: inspired by "A black and white Cartoon about Roof tiling" (deshalb auch auf englisch) über diesen kleinen cartoon habe ich seltsamerweise nächtelang nachdenken müssen - irgendwie hat er mich sehr bewegt (zumal ich selbst jemanden durch einen selbst gewählten kopfschuss verloren habe) und schließlich dann zu diesem gedicht inspiriert |

Hey,
Also ich hab deinen Text 2 Mal gelesen.
