In the morning

The floorboard creaks
The child is awake
The day begins
I close my eyes again
You are no longer in bed
I hear your voice

Scented coffee
Waiting the day

I belong to this day
More with every step
The mirror in the hallway
Showing me my smile

On a walk

In the hollow of the forest
A green-yellow butterfly
Flutters playfully by

In all it’s brightness

Between still leafless trees
At the end of the winter
And in hoping and longing
For some of its lightness
Hangs on both wings

the island holds me tight
everything that belongs to me stays with me
and results in a harmonious whole
nothing can drift away
the sea brings it back to my shores
usually I feel like in splintered pieces
but here I am round and soft and all me
and the winds and the waves sing in my ear

leaves sail down on me
first float calmly in the wind
then flutter around wildly
as if they were looking for a decision
