Stand up against the Sound of Silence

Layed sleeping, dreaming in my bed,
walked on the streets where we first met.
Streetlight was flickering so shy
and all those people came to die.
The cancer painted on the wall
has grown unseen to fast and tall.
Still remaining in the sound of silence.

But suddenly there was a flash
and like a phoenix out of ash
one man stood up and tried to speak
at first he clearly was too weak.
But with time the power came,
he started speaking without shame.
Running against the walls of silence.

Streetlights started shining brighter,
people started feeling lighter,
they began to refuse dying,
while I saw a silver lining.
And the voice layed upon all
soon it was cancer-like tall.
Filling all the room of silence.

And through the light the message told
came to my brain so bright and bold.
Concentrate on what i heard,
voices like the sound of bird.
The silence has no chance to stay
if you have anything to say.
Lyric banishes the sound of silence.
