The Bark and The Ivy

While thousands and thousands of years went by
many of innocent words have been written.
Under the Bark of the Great Tree in the sky
an always knocking heart has been hidden.

Its roots were as deep as was the Old Lady.
On its bark came to weep an Ivy and maybe:

The ears of this Ivy they alway would lend
water to the Old Tree and thus it went
spreading its arms wide into the stars!
Furtheron it grows fragile and gently as glas.
