So many sins to confess from yesterday
But I don't know if holy god will mind my pray’r
I just hope that god exists
And I wonder if heaven gates are still open up for me
If it’s worth to beg for absolution

Is it necessary to undiscover a pretender
When I daily pretend to be the nix big spender
No mask lasts forever
And I wonder if I’m going to leave without a name
If I’ll never get the golden spoon

Sometimes I wonder
But most times I ask myself why
In a man’s final hour
Who’s already quite prepared to die

Should we strive for more
Or should we be lucky to get out
Should we stay or should we go
Should we pray or should we blow

I’ve seen many preachers and it’s hard to believe
That it’s worth living our only given life as a sleeve
I prefer to belong myself
And I wonder if there is just one big thing to die for
If anyone would die for me

I don’t want to pay the bill for someone else’s dream
I’m only chasing my own ambitions constantly to ream
That must sound pretty selfish
And I wonder if it always has to be the straightest way
If a bend also leads to aim
