Finally

It has finally come, this is the day
that I have dreaded for nearly five years.
I’m at the crossraods, along the way
and I am bound to shed some tears.

I got a choice to make between you
and living, and I know it’ll be tough.
You know that I’m thankful for what
you’ve given, but now it gotta be enough.

No more sitting at night, looking at the sky,
sharing my thoughts, with you by my side.
Now I’ll leave you, please don’t ask why,
my addiction for you, it just is not right.
