Standard One, two heartbeats

Intro: Softly spoken, stormy wind in the background

Can you hear it?
Winds are howling through the air.
Storms have come over us.
Lightning divides our love into dust,
But we remember our past,
we … have not forgotten.

1
We were children in the sand
playing happily together,
we walked over grasses and
over streets and shared a fever
for the heaven to our heads and all the seas, all the seas.

2
We climbed mountains, walls and trees,
rode on horses, goats and camels,
felt the summer sun and breeze
of the wind that plays a gamble
between blue skies, storms and sunny water waves, water waves.

Refrain
With you at my side ev’rything is just alright.
Never go away from me, we‘ll find a way, find a way.
With you at my side, all my wrongs become the rights.
Never go away, we‘ll find a way, find a way.

3
Please don‘t look at me like that,
don’t forget we had it better,
think of what we once have said,
that we both will never ever
let our love end just because of something odd, something odd.

Refrain
With you at my side, ev’rything is just alright.
Never go away from me, we‘ll find a way, find a way.
With you at my side, all my blacks become the whites.
Never go away, we‘ll find a way, find a way.

Outro
One, two heartbeats, baby,
(heartbeats sound background)
One, two heartbeats, baby,
(heartbeats sound background)
listen to my heart it’s beating.
We are falling apart, don’t leave me.
We have not forgotten our past,
we will keep on fighting to the last.
