Standard Krankheit/illness

Parkinson’s disease

You are my unwillingness, my heavy peace of mind
In spite of how you torture me, I know that life is kind
You are unacceptable, so stubborn when you speak
You’re the unexplainable, so fragile and so weak

You’re my sweet denial when bitter water dries my throat
You make my body shiver even when I wear a coat
Opposed to words of hope you’ll say tomorrow is a dream
When I find the perfect deal, you‘ll say it’s just a scheme

My shadow seems to vanish as the rising sun brings heat
Burning in my veins I can’t escape my tired feet
You are not my chosen one but now you have to stay
Or will I find a miracle, in spite of the delay?

Hope your grace will cradle me, the bitterness turns sweet
Forgiveness you will honour me in spite of each defeat
Faith, you’ll give me comfort for your promises will hold
Truth I will remember every word that I’ve been told...
