Your skin white as the robes of Christ
Your hair as black as the night of New Moon
Cassandra, your absence still hurts in my chest

I walk in this cemetery where we first met
I lay on the graves and watch the deep blue sky
I remember us walking here alone
My boots on those stone corridors
Your black dress charming the silence of the dead
We brought wine, sweet and red like the blood shed
And flowers to a tomb of some unknown random

I remember when you said you hated your life
And you long to be here among those who went away
But now you slip away so sudden
And left me alone in this city of gloomy gray
You went away and disappeared without saying goodbye breaking my heart
I'm lonely, I miss you
I am here in pain, missing your love

I know you made me promise not to fall in love
When we did sex in the cemetery at night
But whenever you slept in my coat
And I caressed your hair and my heart filled itself of ecstasy
I realized once again that I would break another promise
In my life of loneliness, frustrations and collection of failures

Would you be here among the dead?
Finally realized your dream and departed this life?
Finally left this painful and empty life?
Would you be buried here in this graveyard of bitter memories?
This new house of yours full of crosses, dead people and loneliness

Memories punish my soul and I suffer
I see you walking among the crucifixes and statues
Your memory as present as the angel of death

I miss the sex under the moonlight
Under the gaze of the moon, owls and bats
The city lights shining in the distance
The cold and depressing silence of dawn
Thy lips with black lipstick whispering in my ear
Feeling you in our funeral bed
Kissing you in our gothic romance

Then I wait here
Wine makes me company
Crucifixes bring me memories
In this graveyard of nostalgia and pain
Patiently waiting
Where we first saw
