Standard vertontes englisches gedicht (Throughout)

Throughout (klick me)

Cropped the tickled laughs
in shortcake, only semi-sweet
and swinging to tongues
lingering on and on and on,

like fresh cake kisses
with buttersmudged pictures
on minds,
through wide opened windows,
could have
poured honey all the way
on and so on,

but glancing at the unleashed
tumbling, by rerolled dices
and curtains on our minds,
staying truthfully here to be

wrong.

Great job! All perfect this time.

Yet I can't locate your phonetics...
|semaɪ| (rather common in the U.S., I daresay)
|lɐ:f| (neither Standard British nor Standard American, but in between)
|bʌdr...| (Standard American style)
|glænsiŋ| (Standard American style)
This is a hard one. Think I'll have to check on regional variations I've not come across yet. Seems North American to me, but I am not sure...

Cheers

Hi movfaltin,

Thanks for the "great job" I am glad I got the most important things like the pace right this time. Allthough I still don`t like how I spoke the title but that is one of the smaller things.

Well you are right, it`s a North American english, influenced by the state of Oregon in which I lived 8 years. Thanks for listening to it!

Greetings,
Isabel

Okay, then why not increase the pitch with the "out" (in "throughout", that is)? Might sound a bit better perhaps.

This one reminds me of one word: awesome. Told you already what I think of the lines themselves. One of the best English poems in here, I would even go further: [...], I´ve ever read. Your American accent sounds fully-sweet, it's a pleasure worth listening more often. Looking forward to the next spoken text.

Hi moon,

I am very flattered by your compliment, even though it`s just not true at least not in my eyes. But I am glad you listened to it and liked it.

Greetings,
Isabel
